What hotels are currently undergoing renovation? I am trying to book a room for February and don%26#39;t want to suffer through construction chaos!

Construction between Monte Carlo and Bellagio has generated many complaints about noise from the rooms of Monte Carlo. I%26#39;ve also seen one comment about noise by the Luxor, but don%26#39;t really know if the new condos for Mandalay Bay have started yet. (From the site Vegas- Yesterday and Tomorrow)

Luxor, Monte Carlo, Aladdin, and Golden Nugget are the ones that come to mind. However, I believe the work at Luxor and GN should be done before your trip, and a number of people have posted saying that the construction at Aladdin didn%26#39;t bother them at all. So Monte Carlo would be the only one I%26#39;d have any concerns about - and there it would probably depend on where your room is. I don%26#39;t know that I would rule out any hotel completely just because of construction.

The two big construction issues on the Strip that will be around for a while are the Aladdin until it becomes Planet Hollywood and Monte Carlo whilst the huge Center City project is built.

MC isn%26#39;t affected itself, it%26#39;s just that there%26#39;s round the clock construction next door and I wouldn%26#39;t want a room in the north end of the building. At Aladdin, the rooms are supposedly fine but, for the time being, the rest of the hotel is a bit of a mess.

Mandalay Bay is going to be renovating its pool area this winter. I don%26#39;t know if it will be chaos, but I suppose it could be noisy during the day.
