The service charges are killer..room service charge..service charge (tip?) but the waiter bringing it up says he doesn%26#39;t get much of that service charge..so you need to slip him some cash too
Then you have little space to eat in the room, and have to bus dishes out to the hallway
Easier to just go down to the 24 hr cafe, the food is decent there
I agree. Schlep on down to the Pyramid cafe and take in the ambiance! I can%26#39;t wait to go this year and see if our fave waiter is there!
I agree , head on down to the Pyramid cafe, the food there was great. The room service menu was way overpriced and you had limited choices.
At any hotel, room service is priced for those who don%26#39;t need to ask about pricing
I agree with the last poster...the prices for room service are extremely ridiculous. Last year we stayed at the Aladdin and had tea, bagels with cream cheese and orange juice (for 2 guests) and the price was somewhere between $30-40. I imagine that the prices are similar at the Luxor. It%26#39;s much cheaper to head downstairs and get something yourself! : )
the prices are very high. i remember we looked at the menu and noticed they charge all these fees in addition. a built in gratuity, a delivery fee, etc. a water or soda or juice was like 5+, chicken tenders they charged an extra $2 or so just for sauce. might as well go down to the deli or the cafe for something cheaper and probably better tasting
