I%26#39;m going to Vegas in January and reserved a Luxury GO Rooom at the Flamingo. Has anyone stayed in one of these rooms? They look very nice from the pictures on the website.
This is my second time in Vegas and second time at the Flamingo. The first time I had a horrible view of the parking lot over O%26#39;Shea%26#39;s, but still loved the Flamingo. I was hoping the Go rooms come with a better view.
Thanks for your help!
Flamingo Luxury GO Rooms
i think if you read back a month via the search facility on the flamingo above there are a couple of reviews of these rooms and both are favourable. If you want the view then the GO Luxury rooms come with a view and an extra $20 a night over the GO deluxe rooms. Im staying in one of these rooms come march so let me know what you think when you get back.
Flamingo Luxury GO Rooms
I am staying there in December, but just booked through Allegiant, so probably will get a standard room. I really like the look of the Go and Go Deluxe rooms, and was thinking of upgrading.... however, it seems hard to believe the rooms could be worth $50-$70 per night more. That is an extra $350 for the trip... Curious if that is a worthwhile investment.
I got comped four of my five nights, so it%26#39;s costing me 190.00 for all five nights. It was going to cost me more to stay in a standard room. I was only getting comped for two nights in a standard..........Doesn%26#39;t make sense! So I jumped right on that.
We booked GO Rooms over Christmas. Does anyone have any idea what floors they are on and if all have a view?
bobandjodi, if you don%26#39;t mind, could you tell me what you had to pay for those rooms at that time?
I have also booked a Go Luxury room, Jan. 8 - 15 for CES and AVN. I have been comped all nights (saving about $3500). But, from what I heard, the rooms don%26#39;t even have a coffee maker nor a refrigerator. But, it has a ipod docking station!? Please people post more reviews so that I can change hotel before its too late. Thanks.
I have never been in a room in Vegas that had a coffee maker. They just don%26#39;t include things like that... I think they want you to order room service or eat in one of their dining establishments, or get your coffee while gambling.
That is a LOT of comped room time... i really DO need to increase my gambling expenses! (just kidding).
Ipod docking station might be kinda nice, actually.
I think you%26#39;re right about the coffee maker. It%26#39;s just that I travel a lot and almost always have one.
Oh, I can believe I got all that comped, also especially with those two big conventions in town. I%26#39;m not the big a gambler - I thought.

Our 4 nights were comped as we had a choice of Paris or GO Rooms at Flamingo. Neither of us are large players, but my wife and I are both Gold TR players and go to AC about every 6-8 weeks and she plays slots and I play Slots and BJ.
We debated on the rooms since we stayed at Flamingo before and like the location close to O%26#39;Shea%26#39;s and Margaritaville, and with the promise of a nicer newer room we took to GO Room over her first choice of Paris.
If this room is a letdown, it will be my fault, but isn%26#39;t that how life works?
