A few various situations where I am uncertain what the current appropriate tip rate is now in Vegas. First, when you have a valet retrieve your car at the major strip hotels (is it now $2 that is appropriate?).
What about if you are playing the slots and hit a jackpot? Do you tip the people that give you the money?
What percentage or how often do you tip if you are with a friendly dealer and are winning?
We are eating at a couple nice restaurants. Do you tip the Sommelier if you order wine? We may eat at Hugo%26#39;s. Do you tip the person that makes the salad?
Who else do you normally tip in Vegas?
Tipping questions
No one ever ate at Hugo%26#39;s? No information?
Tipping questions
I tip the Vallet at least $3.00
Hit the jackpot I always tip (depending on the amount) these days, up to $1200 you get a paper, so you don%26#39;t need to tip anyone
Can%26#39;t answer the others cuz my dates usually tip in the restaurants, lol
Type tipping in the search box. I just did and got my answer. And this is me tipping, others may differ:
I take plenty of $5 bills with me. It%26#39;s easier for me, and I figure I%26#39;m going to drop $5 easy enough within 20 seconds in a slot machine, why not give it to some person actually working for a living....
Taxi to the strip, around $5. Actually I might push this one up or down depending on the attitude of the driver. Does he open the door for my wife? Does he take the luggage out or make me? Is he nice or grumpy?
Curb side baggage at the airport.....$5
Baggage into the hotel and up to the room....$5
I can open doors myself....
Drinks....$5...(Note I order 3 drinks at a time, one is for the wife)
But I will tell you, after the first order my glass rarely goes dry. =)
Lunch and dinner I tip 20%. This can be adjusted up or down, depending on service. But I will tell you, after the first order my glass rarely goes dry. =)
Okay, now that I reread...maybe none of what I said helped....lol
