Should I be nervous of Spring Break ?

Hi, My DH and I who are early 50%26#39;s are travelling to Las Vegas March 21 %26gt; 28th . This is our frist visit to Vegas and wonder if you can give us some advice on a couple of things please.

We dont have a %26#39;spring beak %26#39; as such here in the UK, so its not something that I have given much thought to, up until now ! But having read some posts here I am starting to get a bit leary, is this a bad time to visit Vegas ? We really cant change our dates as we are doing this trip prior to flying to LA to go on a cruise. Can anyone put my mind at ease please !

Secondly , we have booked the Aladdin/Planet holywood resort for our stay ther, and again are begining to wonder if this is a wise move or not due to the reviews that it has been getting lately. Does anyone know what the state of renovations etc will be like come March (we booked this way back in March this year when it got great reviews) although we did not get it cheap, Again any advice/info on this would be greatly appreciated too.

Many thanks in advance.

Should I be nervous of Spring Break ?

Vegas will be very busy during the time you are planning to be there. However, since you%26#39;ve already booked flights and hotel, you will be fine. My main suggestion to you is to book show/restaurant reservations in advance of your arrival in LV, you can book most things online. Book as far in advance as you can, esp for the shows.

I%26#39;ve not stayed at Aladdin, but know 2 diff people who have in the last few months, they%26#39;ve like it just fine, you should be ok. There are people that whinge about most everything, I wouldn%26#39;t let it worry you overly much.

If you booked your stay at the Aladdin directly with the hotel, keep checking their prices to see if the rates for the time of your stay go down, if so, then contact them and ask for a price adjustment. Also check other hotels prices, doubtful a deal won%26#39;t come up for that time period, but always check because they do happen sometimes!
