Lots of questions - Young Moms in Vegas

There are a group of 10 of us planning a trip to Vegas. Must see the new Prince show! I have a few questions; where to stay, what to do, and when to go?

Being moms we are all on a budget. We want to stay in one of the nicer casino%26#39;s on the strip, but don%26#39;t want to pay an arm and a leg. We are all very interested in a nice spa experience and I know most of the nicer casinos have nice spas, but are any better than the others?

Also, since there are so many of us is it economical to get suites?

I%26#39;m desperate to see the Prince show too. There%26#39;s one huge problem - from what I%26#39;ve read he%26#39;s only playing on Fridays and Saturdays which are the expensive nights to stay in Vegas. A room that%26#39;s $100 midweek can easily be $300 at weekends (more if it%26#39;s busy) and a lot of hotels will only let you stay both nights, not just one.

The two weeks leading up to Christmas are a very cheap time to visit Vegas and you can get some great bargains even at weekend. Without knowing your rough budget it%26#39;s hard to advise on specific hotels. Tell us what you%26#39;re happy to spend and you%26#39;ll get some good advice on this forum.

prince is playing at the monte carlo brewery on wednesdays.

Just make sure you dont come home expectant young mums,remember ';what happens in Vegas does not always stay in Vegas';

lol just kidding

Erica, you do know it is not the real Prince, right? It is a Prince tribute show. Very good show indeed.

Why not stay at the Rio and there is a shuttle to the strip.

it is the real prince at the rio on weekends saw tickets at $125 on another site. he will have other artists on his label performing during the week for like $30-40. first shows are this weekend, does%26#39;nt say how long he will be at the rio but club is callled 3121 and he is getting a restaurant at the rio also as part of deal......

A restaurant? What the hell does Prince know about restaurants?

My god, I hope they don%26#39;t serve doves...

If you have%26#39;nt already found this out, Prince tickets are $125 general admission, standing only no seating.

Thanks for all the replies.

We are really looking for something in the $200 a night range for a couple of us in each room, but would pay more for a suite fitting more of us. My hope is that he will still be playing into next year. Since we have kids making last minute arangements can be challenging.

I do realize it is $125 for the show. I paid around $100 when I saw him a couple of years ago in concert and it was well worth it. I don%26#39;t think I would set too much anyway.

And yes, none of us better come up pregnant since we aren%26#39;t taking our husband.....I actually have a daughter who was a present to my husband and me from a previous trip to vegas!

I did not know about the resturant, but I think they have alot of good resturants already. Not sure why he wouldn%26#39;t stick to music, he%26#39;s good at that.

They will probably be serving the Prince spaghetti entrees!!

What would Anthony on the North end of Boston have to say about that? LOL
