Gang,
I%26#39;m still trying to figure out if there%26#39;s a decent way from Caesar%26#39;s back to MGM on New Year%26#39;s Eve after Celine%26#39;s early (7:30p) concert which ends at 9:00 p.m. We%26#39;re staying at MGM and would like to be there by 10pm, but hear the only real way back is by walking which would take all night that night!
Two thoughts: Do taxis run the back streets after The Strip is closed? If so, it would seem plausible to take a taxi from the back side of Caesar%26#39;s (Industrial or Flamingo) to MGM%26#39;s entrance on Tropicana? Or is this just wishful thinking?!
Second, if we%26#39;re NYE refugees at Caesar%26#39;s (which really isn%26#39;t that bad of a thought!), is there a fun NYE party at Cleopatra%26#39;s Barge, or would folks recommend going with the hotel party that night wherever that might be?

Could you walk across the pedestrian walkway from Caesar%26#39;s to Flamingo and take the monorail to MGM? I assume the monorail runs on NYE. I%26#39;m not sure though.

Taxi%26#39;s will be running from the rear entrance of CP, no problem except the wait.
Doubtful the monorail is an option for you because I suspect Harrah%26#39;s will have its doors closed to the public. You could walk all the way around Harrah%26#39;s to the terminal, but if you did that, you just as well walk through the MOB to MGM. NOT, take a taxi.
