wondering which show to pick? Which is the best Cirque show - unfortunately, I wanted to see LOVE but it isn%26#39;t being performed while I will be there. And should I pick Danny Gans over the Cirque show?
cirque du soleil Vs. Danny GansI have seen Love, Mystere, O and Ka. I think Mystere is the best and most traditional CDS show. You can%26#39;t go wrong with Mystere or O. I did not like Ka. You can buy the cheaper tickets to any of the CDS shows I saw and you will be fine-you will be able to see everything. Sit back from the stage. I also saw Danny Gans-twice. But when I went the tickets were something like $35. I thought he was very good at that price. I would not recommend buying a ticket to see him for $100. He is just not worth that amount of money IMHO.
cirque du soleil Vs. Danny GansI would recommed Gordy Brown over Danny Gans. Never seen Danny Gans but his tix are $100. I seen Gordy downtown for $50 and Danny can%26#39;t be any better. Gordy is now at the Venetian and his tix are $75 if I remember correctly. LOVE is the only Cirque show I would think about seeing
I would choose Mystere at TI, it is fabulous and the original Cirque show in Vegas, well worth the price tag!
Danny Gans is good, but at the price now being charged to see him, I%26#39;d pass, there are other things that are better in my opinion.
If you%26#39;ve never seen a Cirque show, then I highly recommend you see one in Vegas, you will love it!
Gans is the most overrated show in Vegas (my opinion). Any Cirque show would give you a better evening%26#39;s entertainment.
Overrated.....I agree, a mediocre performer to say the least, I would forget Gans, forget Cirque and go and see Phantom at the Venetian.
I was planning on seeing LOVE when I am there at the end of November but it is not on at that time.
Wife and I saw Mystere and Le Reve (which is basically a cirque show for all intents and purposes), and we are kind of burned out. I think that Gans is probably a decent choice for a good ticket price, but only if you are about 40+ in age or so, as he does a lot of impressions of George Burns, etc. He is more typical cheese vegas variety, but if I were going that route, I%26#39;d go for Follies Bergere, or a feathered showgirl type show. I also agree that phantom would be great. I think Phantom is what we%26#39;ll do this June.
