HELP!! paris v ballys

Can%26#39;t help yet - as I am staying at Paris in three weeks - so will know better. Paris was chosen by my partner as it is a prime location on the strip.

HELP!! paris v ballys

Hey smizo - everytime Paris comes up in conversation people say it has some of the nicest rooms on the strip. My Aunt stayed at Ballys and said the rooms are also nice, very big size and of course location is awesome (as is Paris).

I would be happy at Bally%26#39;s but its up to you........

I have stayed only at Ballys. We have gambled, ate and drank only at Paris. Personally we do not like the atmosphere at Paris. A bit too cheesy and the whole fake french thing is kind of irritating to me. Ballys is very plain and has no theme. The rooms however in the north tower are nice. They are also large. The rate you quoted is great for both. They are also both connected so you dont have to go outside to get from one to the other. If you want to experience Paris, Id say stay at Ballys, but play at Paris.

We%26#39;ve stayed at both hotels.

They both have good rooms and great location.

Paris%26#39;s rooms are a little smaller but they%26#39;re newer and Bally%26#39;s rooms are a little older but very clean and large.

You can%26#39;t go wrong with either one since you can use either hotel%26#39;s accomodations when you stay at either one.

Those are good rates. If you or anyone you%26#39;re travelling with have ever longed to stay at Paris this would be the time to do it since you probably won%26#39;t find a better deal unless you play enough to earn special rates or a comp. Paris would also tip the scales in the romance department, if that%26#39;s a concern.

That said, after having stayed at both properties, I wouldn%26#39;t pay the extra to stay at Paris. But then, I visit vegas 4-5 times a year these lately so I mix my schedule up with a combination of splurge trips and budget trips. If I didn%26#39;t visit so frequently I might spring for the ';upgrade'; to Paris. You might also try calling Ballys to see if $89 could get you moved into a jacuzzi suite there that time of year.

Stayed at and primarily played at Bally%26#39;s on my last 2 trips (and only 2) to Vegas.

I thought the rooms were quite nice, the service was very good and the location can%26#39;t be beat.

If you enjoy gambling, I recommend playing at Balley%26#39;s. I%26#39;m a big craps player (with a small bank roll) and the dealers are some of the best. Just a great atmosphere alltogether.

Plus, they got a pretty large, yet simple sportsbook as well in the lower floor.

I also like the fact that it%26#39;s connect directly to Paris so you don%26#39;t have to go outside, and there is a monorail stop upstairs.

Of course, being right across from the Bellagio Fountains is a great perk for free entertainment value.

Having stayed at both I%26#39;ll second janpo%26#39;s comments above. Really cant go wrong with either, though my wife prefers the Paris over Ballys. Paris has a french theme whereas Ballys has no particular theme.

We are checking into Bally%26#39;s this Sunday, I%26#39;ll report my experiences back to you afterwards! I%26#39;m sure we%26#39;ll be in both Paris and Bally%26#39;s a lot since they are connected. My last trip in April (stayed at Venetian) Paris ended up being the only place I played BJ and I WON $125 in about an hour. So I have to try my luck there again!!

We got a Priceline package (air + 4 nights at Bally%26#39;s) for $596 TOTAL

Flight from San Jose, CA was $193 each, so room is $210 for 4 nights. That%26#39;s $52.50 a night, including taxes!!

GeoffK,

I fly out of San Jose, and have been watching the airfares. Did priceline give you the direct flights with US air or America West. or a one stop flight?
