Richard Petty Driving Experience?

Has anyone done this in LV and how much did it cost? I%26#39;ve only found 1 review and it was positive, however, I%26#39;m wondering just how expensive it can get? Thanks

My husband did it in 2003. We paid $350.00 for the class and 8 laps around the track. My son did a ride along for $99.00. My husband is a former local dirt track racer, and he had a blast. Said if he ever gets the chance, he%26#39;ll do it again.

It was for my husbands birthday also. We had gone to Vegas for our 25th wedding anniversary. We went to the NASCAR race, and he did the driving experience 2 days later. It was exciting to be on the same track as the race we had just been to. They will take his picture while he%26#39;s in the car and put in on a nice plaque. I think it was $35.00, but we had to buy it. He also got a print out of his lap times. I%26#39;m sure your husband would love it! What a nice surprise!

Fandt94- Just in case this helps you- we were in Vegas in Oct and my husband went down to the race track to check it out as he didn%26#39;t want to ';book it blind';-without seeing the facility- well, he was quite impressed with the entire set-up. It looked like a great experience.

Unfortunately, he didn%26#39;t have the opportunity to do it during our stay but he will book it before we go in the spring so that he can next trip.

He plans on doing the package that gives 16 laps- simply because a few of his friends did a similar thing in Fla and ended up rebooking the 8 laps a second time because thay had such a great time.

Last year my husband did the Cobra racing adventure in Vegas- it was more money than the 16 lap Petty package and by comparison my husband thinks the Petty experience is as good if not better.(this one puts you in a class in the morning and in a AC Cobra in the afternoon-good, but it didn%26#39;t seem to be as well oraganized)
