Anyone try Microsoft%26#39;s 3D mapping yet? Las Vegas just so happens to be one of the 15 cities mapped in 3D. You can stroll down the stip in amazing 3D. Beware though, you need a pretty powerful computer to enjoy it.
Las Vegas Strip in 3D
I haven%26#39;t seen it in 3D but 2D looks great as well - and you don%26#39;t need a very powerful processor.
For those who want to see it, go to http://maps.live.com/ and then type something like Bellagio Las Vegas. Then when it comes up hit %26#39;bird%26#39;s eye view%26#39; and it will give you a 2D view.
It kind of reminds me a lot of Sim City, for those people who used to play that video game.
Las Vegas Strip in 3D
There is now a 3D button next to the 2D button. You need to download and install a plug-in and it only runs in Internet Explorer. The hotels and casinos pop out of the ground in real 3D. It%26#39;s a ';must do'; experience for any first time vacationer to Las Vegas. It will familiarize you with the Strip in exact 3D layout.
