Men's Night Attire

Hello everyone.

Looking for any info. on proper nighttime attire for men.

My husband isn%26#39;t one to wear a suit %26amp; tie, therefore is more comfortable in jeans or khaki cargos.

Is a nice pair of jeans with a neatly pressed button down shirt considered Acceptable in most nightclub/lounges?

We didn%26#39;t see any night life last time we were in Vegas and are looking to check out a couple of places.

Thanks for any help.

Wear what you want. There are no restrictions.

nightclubs and lounges are 2 different animals. In most lounges jeans are fine - in most nighclubs they are questionable. some clubs enforce the dress code more than most restaurants. If you know for sure which clubs you want to visit post that, ot call them. In general khakis and collared shirt are fine - the jeans could be an issue in a few places.

This is true - nightclubs and lounges are 2 different animals.

(It has been a while since we have been to either) Most of our nights out are to a restaurant with a bar/lounge.

I%26#39;m not sure were we are going. We are staying at TI, and have free passes to Tangerine, so we will go there. I thought about Margaritaville and possibly - (can%26#39;t remember) ghost bar maybe. Any suggestions?

If the dress code is too strict we just won%26#39;t go in.

Thanks for the help.

young kids tend to dress nice- sometimes real nice,- the older folks tend to dress like they are going to walmart.

It depends were you go, but there are dress codes that you need to know about. In general a collared shirt and khaki pants are fine.

Be aware of shoe restrictions- my friend was refused entrance into a dance club for flip flop type shoes (with a nice dress).

';Hip'; clubs require ';hip'; attire. You will feel out of place if you are under dressed.

Margaritville- you could wear pajamas

Ghost Bar and Tangerine- be prepared to be dressed nice/fasionable

If you choose an Ultra Lounge or someplace like Mix- you will need to be dressed much nicer.

You should check dress codes for the places you want to go in advance.

Wear black. That could be dressy or casual.

Also, NO sneakers.

I agree, black is always good. My husband wore a pair of nicely pressed (navy) slacks and a starched button down shirt and was fine. We went to a few different places and didn%26#39;t have any trouble.

(Margaritville, Tangerine and Ghost Bar).

Personally I wear jeans in the daytime and khakis or better at night, sometimes with a sportcoat.

I never thought of a sport coat.

Is that really needed?

I think we will probably just avoid any place that has that strict of a dress code.
