Early December weather??

The averge high temperature=upper 50s. But that is just the average. Some years the highs have been in the low 70s while other years the highs have not gotten out the 30s. You are going to have to check a weather site just before leaving to see if you are going to hit a warm or cold spell. At night- average low=upper 30s but some years it has been in the teens. Bring clothes that can be layered- tops with short/long sleeves, a mediumweight sweater and a lined jacket.

I went to Vegas late November (Thanksgiving) for many years and I was never able to go swimming. It was just too cool, windy or cloudy.

Most of the pools are now closed for the winter season, and will re-open in around April. Temps will most likely be in the 60%26#39;s during the day and chilly at night. You%26#39;ll just have to check the forecast a few days before you leave to see if it will rain.

I will be there 12-10 to 14.

I expect to start out in a light jacket over a long or short sleeve shirt if I go outside for any length of time in the morning..

The jacket will be in the room around Noon.

I will probably need it again after sundown, 4:00 pm, it gets real cold in the desert after sundown..

Your best bet is to dress in layers if you plan to walk outside.

Inside it should be much like an other large public space. Don%26#39;t don%26#39;t leave your wallet in the pocket where it cas be stolen don%26#39;t put your jacket over your chair and forget it .

Unless a record heat wave is expected, I will leave the shorts at home.

Some hotel pools just may be open and may even be somewhat heated, if so, you may use them if you are a polar bear. The trouble is not so much the water temp as the big chill when you come out again. Open or closed depends on the property.
