Dinner @ Tao?

How%26#39;s the food here?

I called them and asked if you have dinner, does that allow you in the club and she said that you get a line pass for the club but you still have to pay the cover charge.

Does anyone have experince with this? Does it actually work?

Thanks!

I%26#39;ve been to the one in NY (same owners). You don%26#39;t really go to Tao%26#39;s for the food. You go to look and be seen! The place has a really cool look and vibe to it. Even as a restaurant it feels like a club. The food is good but nothing fabulous. But where else are you going to see a 12 foot Buddah?

They have food at Tao? ;)

Which day of the week are you planning to go? I was there last week (staying at the Venetian). Monday and Tuesday it was dead - no line and no cover. Wednesday was busier - but no line and no cover. Thursday we didn%26#39;t event try to go near the place because the line wrapped through the lobby and into the mall (and... I assume there was a cover).

Needless to say - it is a great club. Since it was in our hotel that is where we ended our nights out. Their specialty drinks are great - try the ';Orange Dragon'; and the ';Orient Espresso';... delish!

Hi,

Trying to go on a Saturday night ... did you ever eat there? Was the food decent?

No, we did not eat at Tao. I would imagine that on Saturday it would be crowded (judging from the line on Thursday).

Anyone eaten here? I really would like to get a review before I book for my birthday party of 10 people??

Anyone??? Help??

Bebe,

If you just do a search using ';Tao Asian Bistro'; you will get a list of reviews of the restaurant/club.

Good luck!

To avoid confusion, do the search in the upper left corner ';search'; box, not the search feature in the forum section.

Thank you! Looks like the reviews are not that good. I guess we will just pass on eating here.

We are heading to Vegas this weekend for my birthday, and I chose a new place at Treasure Island called Social House. It%26#39;s Japanese, and looks really good (lots of options, not just sushi). You might want to check it out and see if it looks like a good spot for your birthday dinner.

Here%26#39;s the link w/info: http://www.socialhouselv.com/

I just a great review about social house. Please come back %26amp; let us know what you thought.

I never hear anything about the food a Tao. Guess I%26#39;ll stay away too.
