Orleans Prices

I am booked at The Orleans Dec 10-14. I got the $25 price deal they had going with the flyer in the mail. Plus two nights comped. Now i noticed that the prices are $100 per night which is high for The Orleans and especially for the time of year. Even on Tripres the prices listed are high compared to the usual amount. Does anyone know why it would be so high? I checked the convention schedule and there doesnt seem to be anything big then.

I also booked the $25 special for Dec. 14-17th and now have noticed that the rates are over $100 per night and they are sold out on Dec. 16th. There are no big conventions going on during that time so I%26#39;m guessing they booked a WHOLE lot of $25 rates and now the hotel is quite full for these dates. I work in the hotel biz and know a litlle bit about rates and as the hotel becomes more and more full the rates go up. I%26#39;m guessing they got overwhelmed with people taking advantage of their special rate and had to put the brakes on it.

blb421: That is also the week that both the Orleans and Gold Coast offered two free nights, on top of the 25 dollar a night rate at the Orleans...so, if anyone received that offer, they could stay 6 nights for 50 dollars.(yes, it included Friday night)..such a good deal that I%26#39;m sure it filled up very quickly and now the Orleans will be packed and that is why the rates went up to 100 dollars...Coast casinos, IMO, have the best comps for ';low-rollers';....

December 14 to 17 - Donny Osmond is at the Orleans Showroom. Might mean diddly to you US guys, but I know a lot of UK fans are travelling to see him. I wish I could be there - I booked for October, which he postponed! Still did the trip with two pals - mightily impressed with the Orleans!
