T minus 11 days - Pre Trip Report

Only 11 days to go till my business trip to Vegas....so here is the Pre-Trip Report.

I will only be in Vegas for one and a half days...a long way to go from England for a meeting but anyway.

This is my provisional plan of which I assume wont happen

Tuesday 28th November

Leave Manchester 9am - Arrive Vegas 11.50am

Pick up rental car and then go straight to my first meeting, luckily its only a block and a half from the strip. If all goes to plan I will be able to check in at my hotel (Wynn) early at about 2pm.

Quick shower and other duties then out to the gun store to have a blast with a few machine guns. From there to Caesars Forum Shops to pick up a few bargains, the stuff there is so much cheaper than it is in the UK.

Back to the hotel for about 6pm then maybe a few hands of Pai Gow (tiles or cards). Then I will walk to the Venetian for Phantom (ticket booked). I%26#39;ll be the loner at the right hand side of the front row!!

Back to the Wynn for dinner, probably at Red 8. Then there is a choice to be made, more pai gow or high class escort....only kidding, the pai gow will be cheaper!!!

Wednesday 29th

Early meeting at 8am till 11am, this will be a killer as I dont usually get up till about 10!!!

Hopefully if I can get my timings right I want to do the Petty driving experience at the speedway. If all goes to plan then this will finish at about 4. Straight to TI for some light single table poker tournament play to get me prepared for the evening games at the Wynn.

Dinner somewhere, maybe bartolotta...alone again...then a few drinks.

Thursday 30th

Airport for 9am for a 10 hour direct filght back to England.

If anyone has any better suggestions then please let me know or if you fancy meeting for a drink one night, I hate sitting alone in bars!!

You only going for 1 %26amp;1/2 days?! Can%26#39;t you try wag a couple more days at least, its such a long way to go for such a short amount of time. I am always absolutely done in after the flight arriving that I crash out by 11pm at the latest first night, in fact our last trip I never really recovered from the jet lag all week!

Anyway, I hope you have a fun time at the Wynn, I would really love to stay there 1 day. We have a long wait yet until February for our next visit and am still counting the days....

Well I%26#39;ll be in your neck of the woods before you get to Vegas, I got an apartment in Puerto Banus so I might be able to give you some stuff from the Wynn..

Do you really?! Oh wow what a coincidence! I am very near Banus, fab place, especially if you like posing! Great shopping and restaurants, I actually see a similarity between LV %26amp; Marbella, but LV is just much bigger and does it better :)

As for picking me up something from the Wynn, well, don%26#39;t get me started cos I will have a huge shopping list for you :) !

Well im not right near the port, Im a bit further back near the bullring but i agree, it is a bit mini Vegas, lots of extravagance etc.

ahh super area, Nueva Andalucia is my most favourite place here in fact. We have a shop in centro plaza. Saturdays are a nightmare with market day but generally it is a lovely place to be.

Anyway, completely off topic :) Have a fab time in LV, don%26#39;t work too hard!

Now this would be a first for TA: A psychic member who posts his/her trip report BEFORE they even go to Vegas! They can tell us which restaurants will have the bestfood and service, how smoothly their flight will go, how quickly they get their luggage, how much they%26#39;ll lose at the tables/slots...the whole thing! Maybe I%26#39;ve given yet another idea to Conversationist....ooops!

Good luck and will like to see your TR! My last trip to Vegas was of similar duration, arrived about 2 PM on day one and left about 12 Midnight the next. It was my eighth or nineth trip to Vegas, so I didn%26#39;t mind it. Stayed Downtown, took bus to Strip, walked the Strip a couple hours, stopping in about 5-6 casinos. Did all my gambling Downtown.
