professional slot players, anyone?

Local paper had an article about a ';professional'; slot player. I was wondering how anyone could play slots as a profession? I know there are professional gamblers who play table games and sports but slots? Anyone know someone or are you a P slot player?

professional slot players, anyone?

Anyone?

professional slot players, anyone?

I know professional slot players that always LOSe. Does that count?

Escaper, it seems your local paper is as reliable as my LA Times. A ';professional slot player'; would be mathematically assured of being a professional loser. Maybe they were thinking of John Daly?

I think Slotto is the closest we have to that on the forum here. It seems like she consistently wins at slots more than anyone else I%26#39;ve heard of! Now, do we consider VP as playing ';slots?'; If so, then Jean Scott may qualify. I think VP is a hybrid between slots and a table game myself. For pure slots, making enough of a profit to offset the investment is nearly impossible over the long-haul. There%26#39;s a reason they are the most profitable game offered by the casinos.

Strip Cruiser is correct. VP is different. That%26#39;s why they comp it differently too.

Just don%26#39;t quit your day job! I could be an unsuccessful professional slot player, does that count?

I should re-state my last sentence-slots are the most profitable game for the casino, not the player. Just to be clear I%26#39;m not delusional. (At least this time, that is)

I think the moment we land at the LV airport, or cross the state line, we become Un-Successful professional gamblers.

But Don%26#39;t forget that we only go to vegas for the FUN and not to WIN, LOL

Actually, it was the person the paper was reporting on who claimed he was a ';professional'; slot player. I go to LV to have fun and to win. Of course, only the fun part is guaranteed. I didn%26#39;t think there was such a thing as a professional slot player, but hey, who knows? If you have enough money, you can be a professional slot player, if you choose.

My hair dresser goes to Vegas twice a year and only plays dollar slots.

If what he says is true, his budget for gambling is like $3000

According to him, he never pays for the hotel and the food, and in last 5 years he is ahead by $10,000

If he is right, I think you can be a prfeesional slot player if you have a big bank roll and play the dollars only
