Bally's pool

According to Bally%26#39;s site, the pool does not open until the end of May.(we%26#39;re booked week of the 14th) Does this mean off limits? , or just no poolside service, etc.? Any ideas?

It means that the pool is closed for swimming, and obviously no services either. Most of the bigger hotels have closed their pools for the winter, or at best (if they have multiple pools onsite) they may have one pool open. They will re-open their pools in the April/May timeframe.

end of May seems late to open pools.

You may be able to use the pool at Paris, which is interconnected to Ballys but somewhat of a walk. Two years ago we were there at Thanksgiving and the pool at Paris was open (it is heated) as were the hot tubs. I went swimming as did the kids in 55 degree weather, everything is good until you get out. The pool at Paris isnt much but it is a pool though, and they didnt have any service (food and drinks) but they did have towels. May want to call Ballys and see if you can use the pool at Paris if you are staying in Ballys.

Stayed at Ballys in April from the 16th pool was open. We had glorious weather and the deep pool was great for swimming.

Poolside bar and cafe were open, waitress service great.
