Wow, that is a good deal! I%26#39;m getting $229/night for Nov 19th-23, but with your cose (you can enter it online) it drops it to $159.

It%26#39;s a shame my mom is too set on the Venetian for next week or I would insist on switching!

I know... convince mom that if she ';lets'; you switch to Wynn, you%26#39;ll consider it an early Christmas/Holiday gift.

I haven%26#39;t been to Wynn yet, and not going back to Vegas until next summer---ouch. Until then I%26#39;ll have to live vicariously (did I spell that right?) through all of you.

But, we are going to the Mountaineer Casino/Racetrack in Chester, WV, this weekend. That%26#39;s almost the same as Vegas. Almost. : )

laurasue- I%26#39;ve stayed at both the Venetian %26amp; the Wynn and I have to tell you that the Wynn is the nicer property. Of course, both places are great and if you%26#39;re sharing a room ou may be happier at the Venetian since their rooms are a bit larger. I just love the bedding, bathrooms, the sleek decor %26amp; huge windows at the Wynn. Very nice. Either way, you ought to really enjoy your stay.

And to SpanielSis- this is a very good deal. Anything under $200 at the Wynn is a good deal. I think the place is spectacular (though I haven%26#39;t seen any official 5 diamond/star ratings yet - anyone have a link?) Beyond the Venetian, I%26#39;ve stayed at Mandalay Bay %26amp; the Bellagio so I have a few really nice properties to compare it to and it wins.

I should also mention that once you stay at the Wynn they seem to be very good about sending out personalized promotions via snail mail. They seem to really be working it to build up a loyal clientelle.

Thanks BigVegasFan! We are sharing a room so space is certainly an issue. As is budget creep... we started at TI and have been slowly upgrading (in quality and price) along the strip as deals came out. She%26#39;s already sworn to shoot me if I switch us to a different hotel one more time. I think I%26#39;d enjoy it more with DH... now I just have to convince him we need a Vegas getaway in a few months from now. ;o)

Hey laurasue- You two should be very happy with the Venetian. it sounds like a great fit for your needs. Now, a stay at the Wynn would be perfect for a romantic getway with DH. I hope you find some good deals when you cae get him talked into going!

It looks like we%26#39;re going to be taking advantage of a personalized Wynn deal in January and even though I was at Aladdin %26amp; Bally%26#39;s just last week I%26#39;m already excited about the upcoming trip! I%26#39;m hoping we get a corner room again- floor to ceiling windows looking both north %26amp; south along the strip made a great view while sharing a bottle of yummy red wine after a tasty dinner at The Country Club. I probably won%26#39;t get to see another amazing lightning storm like we had that night in July, but the strip lights are lovely all by themselves!

The lightening storm sounds amazing! That paints quite a picture in my head. The Wynn is on my to-do for sure. Even if I have to wait until next winter do convince DH, I%26#39;m determined to stay there. :)

How was the Aladdin? I heard they finally got rid of the gawd-awful blue. Stayed there in May and was pleasanly impressed for the price. Good inexpensive getaway.
