Leaving in three hours!

I am getting excited now...the cab is going to pick my friend and I up in three hours...so..I just have to finish packing and get myself dressed...get the kid to school by seven. I feel sorry for my MIL..this trip was supposed to be for her and I. Well she had made plans to drive with a friend this weekend. Her friend got sick and cancelled...so last night I was looking online trying to find her flights and have her stay with us...but no luck! I do not want her to drive by herself...and today is her birthday..so I feel bad...but it is out of my control. So have a great weekend everyone..I will post a report after my return..I hope I have good news to share...Slotto

Thank you so much Dee...It will be fun I hope..my friend is not much of a gambler..I got her to do a bit in Palm Springs...I actually gave all the girls some money after I won the ten grand...share the good fortune..I hope she plays a bit and wins some..that would be great...She is just happy to get away from Home and kids etc...My husband and daughter always have fun when I am gone..They eat junk and he lets her get away with more...but I do not let her go anywhere without him..Dad is not as good of keeping track of things..So they bum around the house pretty much. Maybe my older one will come over and do something with her...Slotto

Yes Cooper..I have mixed feelings about going...but I could not tell my friend she could not go because of MIL...I hope she manages to have a good Birthday..I spoiled her with lots of presents yesterday...time to take the kid to school....later...Slotto
