Las Vegas Convention

My husband will be attending a convention in Las Vegas and we are looking for the best Convention Center hotel. Any recommendations?

Las Vegas Convention

I have been looking at the Hilton and Renaissance. They both look like they are within walking distance from the Convention Center. The pool at the Renaissance looks small.

Check out this site and check for hotels on the monorail route.

If you could give your budget, time of trip, likes, dislikes tastes ect..you will get useful advice.

Your question was a little vague .

I%26#39;ll give a little more details. We will be staying 5 days in March, like I said my husband will be attending a convention. We would like easy access to the strip and convention center, as we will not have a car. I found the Renaissance for $109 per night, Hilton $139 per night and Embassy Suites for $169 per night. I think I am leaning toward Renaissance, but the pool doesn%26#39;t look very nice. By photos on the internet, I can%26#39;t tell if the rooms are nicer at the Hilton or Renaissance. The Embassy Suites looks like it is a little farther to walk, but provides breakfast and a manager%26#39;s reception from 5:30 to 7:30 (not sure if it%26#39;s worth the extra $60 per night through). I was just wondering if anyone that has actually been in that area could recommend one or another.

Not sure march is pool weather, but strip hotels with a monorail station would suit you.

Renaissance is going to have the nicer standard rooms, it%26#39;s not a typical Las Vegas hotel, nice but not really exciting. The Hilton%26#39;s rooms aren%26#39;t as nice but they are better than most in their price range (especially if you get an upgraded room in the North Tower), it%26#39;s a more exciting hotel than Renaissance. The Hilton is right on the monorail and the Renaissance would require a little more walking but it%26#39;s still not that far. Renaissance is a much smaller hotel, the Hilton has over 3000 rooms. Renaissance is a Marriot hotel so all of it%26#39;s rooms are non-smoking, the Hilton has both smoking and non-smoking. I don%26#39;t know much about the other hotel you were considering. If you want a nicer quieter room go with Renaissance. If you want something with more dining options and things to do inside the hotel go with the Hilton.

Does the momorail stop at the Convention Center or is the stop at the hilton

There is a stop at the Convention Center and the LV hilton as I recall .

Any of the monorial hotels would be OK then I suppose from the MGM on the South to the Saraha on the north. If you didnt want to taxi or walk.

If a pool is important to you, I%26#39;d call the hotel before you book to make sure the pool will be open in March.
