I was in vegas over 4ht of july and stayed 3 nights at the monte carlo for $59 a night. I realize that janurary is more expensive but for $254 a night is a little high for me. i have my son and my wife and suite would be nice to give us some space but may be impractical at $100-120 a night to find something like that. do you guys have any ideas of hotels on the strip, durning jan. 20-23 , that would have any good promotional rates or codes.
I found one at barbary coast for $100 for sat and $60 for jan 21 and 22.. for a double queen. that is the best I could do. what do you think?
thanks for your help....
help..lodging for jan. 20-23.. 3 nightsI am staying from Jan 24 onwards and am waiting for 3 or 4 more weeks for promos...........there are a few out there but most of the good offers are still for nov/dec and first few days of jan.
help..lodging for jan. 20-23.. 3 nightsI am also looking for lodging in the last week of Jan.
Do you actually think it we%26#39;ll get a better value waiting another month before booking?
Is that the same with flights?
I just got this email from Mirage
November 15 to January 25, 2007
Deluxe Room rates starting at $75 per night (Sunday-Thursday) and $95 Weekends
Call drect at 866-291-1014
Mention offer code WNTR15
2 large conferences in town
22/25 and 23/26 17000 and 85000 ,vegas will be busy.
Madjammin - yeh i think we will get a better deal if we wait as even during conferences there are promos around..........this hasnt really happened at all because barely any of the hotels have released there offers for late jan onwards - dont panic!
Magico, I think you got a good deal.
I%26#39;d book BC - can always cancel - anything I checked for your dates was WAY high
You can try calling Golden Nugget - advertising $79 S-th, $129 weekends call 800 634-3454
Embassy Suites - Swenson - true suites, not ';big rooms'; like to many - located on Swenson, but also backs to paradise rd, just across from Hard Rock - $179k $169, $169 for your dates - free full breakfast - manager%26#39;s reception afternoons M- TH - non gaming hotel
good luck - bad time to go
Definitely go for Barbary Coast. It is winter and you won%26#39;t need a pool. The location is good, and who wants to pay $250 for MC?
The big conventions are the 17,000 Snowsports at the Mandalay and 85,000 for the Concrete Contractors. Add in the 300 person meeting and Vegas rooms are in short supply.
Its also NFL playoffs which was crowded last year.
the hotels do have their January specials out already and that week is pretty well booked.
suggest if you have players cards, try thru a host.
magico, see my other post for MC rates at $69. Maybe with the construction they might honor your date.
