What are your favourites?
I have heard Bellagio is very good. And the Champagne brunch at Ballys (but unfortunately we wont be there on a Sunday )
So where are your top buffets?
Thanks :-)
Best Buffets for Breakfast Lunch and DinnerParis for breakfast buffet. Late lunch at either Bellago or Wynn buffet.
I have eaten Paris buffet for dinner and didn%26#39;t really care for it.
Best Buffets for Breakfast Lunch and DinnerA simple question that will have almost as many replies as there are buffets. OK, here are my votes, and I%26#39;m only basing this on personal experience, not by reputation (which I believe some people do!)
Strip: Mandalay Bay
Off-Strip: Rio
Best deal (price vs. quality) Hilton
My favorite dinner was the Paris Buffet. So now you%26#39;re stuck at 50/50! lol
My favorite breakfast buffet is at South Point, 5 minutes south of Mandalay Bay on the Blvd. If you don%26#39;t rent a car, skip this one.
Actually based on my last stay, (few weeks ago) I won%26#39;t vote for RIO
I never liked paris also
I like venetian and Monte carlo
I am sure Bellagio and wynn are great also
DO NOT GO to any buffet under $18 or $20
Blondie-
I mentioned the Hilton as the best deal because my friend and I went last year, used a POV coupon and got two dinner buffets for $14.99 + tax for both of us. The food was actually pretty good, and I would say that even if I had paid full price. We had a car so getting there was no big deal. I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s fair to say that a buffet can%26#39;t be good just because the price seems too low. But hey, maybe we have different standards and you expect much more, who knows.
I%26#39;ve had the Paris and the RIO for dinner and really enjoyed both but the Champagne/Bloody Mary brunch buffet at the Wynn was phenomenol (sp?) (especially the desserts, excellent pastry chef), great variety and atmosphere, pricey but I was able to use the deal where you sign up for their players club (Red Card) and if you acquire 150 points in your first visit (this can happen over a period of days) you qualify for 2 free buffets. This offer may no longer be available but is worth checking.
I liked the Paris buffet for breakfast more than Bellagio...the Paris buffet room had more character. Todai%26#39;s in the Aladdin also has a nice international buffet for lunch and dinner.
Blondie, I don%26#39;t understand your post. Venetian does not have a buffet at least to my knowledge they don%26#39;t. All the buffets are under 18 dollars for breakfast, not talking about champagne brunches.
I am not too picky but hated Rio%26#39;s buffet. I was not impressed with Mirage%26#39;s either. Harrahs buffet was good for just a basic buffet and many don%26#39;t like it, so it is matter of peoples tastes and what they are looking for. I can%26#39;t imagine paying more than 20.00 for a buffet. I would not get my money%26#39;s worth!
I think you will see there is no answer to this daily FAQ.
Here are my votes (from personel experience)
Bellagio- Delicious for dinner! Enjoyed roast duck, pesto smashed potatoes, a huge variety of salads and to die for desserts. The hot food was HOT and what was suppose to be chilled was cold. I hate luke warm food, that is my biggest problem with buffets.
Sunday brunch- Mandalay Bay, everything I tried was great but I still enjoyed the Bellagio more.
Best Vallue- Main Street Station, good fresh food and a very reasonable rate. (ate lunch here)
Worst- Red Rock Canyon- could not find a single item here that I could take more than 2 bites of and I tried a lot of different things. Food was cold and tasted old and some of the chinese dishes I tried were on the verg of being spoiled! YUCK! My husband agrees that this was the worst food he has ever tried to eat. We both left hungry!
