Anyone else out there for this now? One of my friends who is an avid automotive enthusiast is out there right now.. Looks pretty intense!

My husband and I went to the SEMA show last year for the first time. It is an auto industry only show-not open to the general public, but we had a connection. It was a huge show- made Vegas exceptionally crowded. We both enjoyed the show, but it also was a little less than I expected in some ways. Intense would be one way to describe it- especially the crowds in some of the booth areas. There were so many custom wheel booths and after market booths it was almost ridiculous. (The Rousch Racing Motors booth was of particular interest to my husband and paved the way for him to end up getting one for his car afterward)
This year I asked my husband if he wanted to do the show again- hotel and air wasn%26#39;t a problem and we could have gotten tickets again, but he actually declined. I was a lttle surprised, but he didn%26#39;t really want to deal with the crowds and felt he would have a better time in Vegas when the whow wasn%26#39;t there. So, we went Oct 20 instead.
It is an experience!
