I was browsing on the North Dakota forum, which is one of the least active. Someone made this comment:
* “if you took out Las Vegas then the Nevada forum would probably be dead as well. But the way it is now if you do want to find out anything about Nevada then it gets swamped by Las Vegas and the forum is next to useless.” *
This is SO true! The Las Vegas threads multiply like rabbits and if someone starts another Nevada topic, it gets buried in a few hours. A few weeks ago, someone else posted about this and said LV needs its own forum. That post was snowed under in less than a day.
Does anyone else think Las Vegas needs its own forum? After all, people do exist who are interested in Reno, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, Pyramid Lake, Lake Mead, Eureka, Jarbidge, the Moapa Valley, Tonopah, Great Basin, Nevada history, ghost towns, Basque festivals, cowboy poetry, and parks or other natural sites. If I didn’t have dear friends in Las Vegas, the only reason I’d ever stop there is to buy gas on the way to or from Utah.
How could we go about asking for a real Nevada forum?
Need a REAL Nevada Forum
It took 12 hours for this post to be shoved back to page 4.
What a waste this Nevada forum is for anything else but LV.

Need a REAL Nevada Forum
You have to select Tahoe or Reno from the drop down menu if you want to help out anyone. But I%26#39;m sure there are Nevada questions I never see that I could answer if they didn%26#39;t get buried.
Personally I%26#39;ve never been to Las Vegas though I%26#39;m a native Californian and grew up in S Cal.
Less than 30 hours after the last post, it%26#39;s now on page 8. Sigh.
Anyone else think the REAL Nevada needs a REAL forum?
How about it, TA administrators?
8 days after the OP, it%26#39;s now on page 18.
Obviously, the real Nevada is of little interest to real people. : (
