LV Hilton, Luxor, Monte Carlo, Bally's?

Two couples sharing a room. If you had to choose between these 4 hotels, which one would you choose and why?

tell us a little more - time of year (is pool important?), on-site restaurants, location, gambling, spa, etc

do you want 2 queen beds?

of the above i would go fo MC or bally%26#39;s. I am not a huge luxor fan - and the LV hilton would be my third chocie.

I ditto bridgefan.

Yes I am looking for 2 queen beds. We will be in Vegas 12/28 - 1/1 (New Year%26#39;s). I have read a mix of reviews on each of these hotels so I am unsure of which to choose.

I asked a similar question and decided Bally%26#39;s was probably the best.............they have huge %26#39;standard%26#39; rooms and its in an awesome location.

Some other posters have mentioned the Monte Carlo getting noise from the nearby City Center project?!

Eh just one question,sorry 2

Have you any idea of the prices on NYE?

Do you think there are still rooms available.?

I would check out the answers to both these questions before making any decisions.

And on a final note do you realise how difficult it wil be to get restaurant reservations, get into bars, hotels you are not a guest of etc.

Whatever you decide have a good trip, and please write a trip report when you get back.

I and others would like to hear about the madness of NYE in Vegas.

Thanks.

Yes I have looked into prices and yes there are still rooms left. The Hilton is $966.36, Luxor $1,116.06, Monte Carlo $1,156.80, and Bally%26#39;s $1,315.11.

Nickdolphins, I thought you said you were staying at the Venetian??

Those prices are insane. Nice as those properties may be, you are paying through the nose because of the holiday and will not be getting your money%26#39;s worth.

If you are determined to make this trip, I would seriously consider staying off-Strip, preferably in a non-casino hotel, and save some $.

Stayed at the Hilton twice...enjoyed the property, but they seem to call their beds queen size, but sure seemed like double bed size. Would not put two couples in one room there.
