Help - Electronic Airline Ticket

Please help - We are leaving for Vegas in 2 days. :)

I booked our hotel and flight through MGM. I just found out that they do not mail anything. Our reservations and airline tickets are all sent through email.

I have never had electronic tickets. Is this a problem. Has anyone had trouble with this? Please advise and set my nerves at ease.

Most airlines issue electronic tickets.

You have to print them from your computer and keep them with you at the airport.

They are just like regular tickets.

We fly from the UK on e tickets, they just take your booking ref at the desk and give you your boarding cards as normal, no problems at all.

I can%26#39;t even remember the last time I had a paper ticket. I travel 7-8 times a year and I always have an e-ticket. I have never had a problem. You can print out your boarding pass at home or at the kiosk at the airport. I always print out a copy of the e-ticket just in case but I have never had to use it. If you can%26#39;t print out your boarding pass at home- all you have to do is swipe your credit card in the kiosk at the airport and you will be given your boarding pass. You will still need ID to get through security. It is really so much faster and so much easier than using paper tickets-and no ticket to lose! You will be fine and after you use it once you will be happy with it and will never want to go back to the old way of doing things.

I don%26#39;t actually have an e-ticket. Just all the reservation information. Is that the same thing. Or should I have something separate for the airline? (US Air)

If they e-mailed you the info with the confirmation number on it~ that%26#39;s your e-ticket.

Just print that out and bring with you.

They have e ticket machines. All you have to do is insert an ID and it will have your flight info, and you can print it there (I think) LOL

Poodlefan7 did you get an email from MGM? I booked our hotel last week and still no email confirmation other than the conf. no. the clerk gave me when booking. I called yesterday and they said it would be done asap and still not email? I thought the MGM would be a little quicker or else just say within 10 days you will rec. it. For the flight yes, I just printed out the e-ticket.
