Anyone ever asked for an upgrade for a small fee at the check in desk and managed to get upgraded to permium economy??

Once got upgraded to Premium just by asking politely.Don%26#39;t think they are allowed to take cash from you at check in,but if you dress smartly and get there early you have a chance,we managed to do it both ways.

You are less likely to be lucky if you are travelling with kids.
