Last Saturday I took an organised trip out to Lake Mead and the VOF with Annie Bananie%26#39;s Wild West Tours.

I%26#39;m generally not the type to travel with a group, preferring to go independently, but I have no hesitation in recommending this operator.

The guide and driver, Sierra Sam, kept us educated and entertained throughout a 7 hour trip with a host of information about what we were seeing and recalling his own fascinating family history. Our group were thrilled and laughed all day.

So few people go outside Vegas when they visit, but within an hour or so drive from the Strip, you can be in some of the world%26#39;s most amazing natural scenery. The contrast between the two is enormous and I have no hesitation in suggesting the trip.
