Guys and Gals,
Something has been bothering me so i will get it off my chest.
I have never known a forum like this.............so many questions are asked and instead of nice friendly replies you so often get randam statements in reply.
PLEASE remember when replying that everybody is different in the world and not just %26#39;like you%26#39;................
An example..................a poster just asked a question about a room for 6..............one poster replied in a very unfriendly way saying %26#39;if you cannot afford Vegas then dont go%26#39;.......................
Using the above as an example - 6 would be FAR too much for me personally in a room but I am not goin to reply by saying that, rather I would try and help the poster as much as possible and make recommendations!
Sorry all if I am coming across as moody but this has really been bugging me - lets all try and reply with %26#39;answers%26#39; and be a little more friendly :)

Different People.......................Different Choices?!?!
Is there a question that I missed?
Different People.......................Different Choices?!?!
Well I did try and help them...and they were going to break the law...It is crazy to try and fit six people in a room, even a suite..I am usually pretty nice..but this one got to me. Sorry! Slotto
this from the man who sarcastically asked someone if they had ever used google and implied that they were wasting forum time with a question they should%26#39;ve researched before posting.
people in glass houses . . .
Your point of people being a little more undestanding and realizing that this forum is for all folks from all socio-economic backgrounds, ages, cultures etc is quite valid.
Regarding six people in a room, well that to me sounds like something I did when I was young(er) and broke(r) and I will not judge, but for the fact that the people in the room next door to this room deserve to enjoy their vacation too. By the way, everyone, no one implied in that post that they were going to deceive the hotel, they asked about fitting 6 in a room and there is a chance they were going to register each occupant. Of course what they may not realize is that most Strip hotels have a 4 or 5 person limit per room, even in suites.
Nick, I totally agree! I read and post on other forums regularly and have never seen the rudeness I%26#39;ve encountered on this one. However, that%26#39;s been the case on most travel sites in the Vegas section. It makes me glad I live here because if I wanted to visit I%26#39;d be scared to ask anything! And it also confirms what I%26#39;ve always thought of the majority of people who visit this town.
Nick, you are right, some of us tend to answer some questions with a comment.
if the question is from a new member, you are right, we shouldn%26#39;t do that.
But in last two weeks, we had at least 10 different questions, regarding vegas and KIDS
How many time should we answer that question?
The poster can spend 5 minutes and check the previous posts.
Also, to be honest, most of us have been to vegas so many times that we actually don%26#39;t have a real question, and we post things just to communicate with each other.
MusicMan0301,
You know buddy - i take your point and feel a little bad about writing what i did after what you said, its just that I get a real unfriendly vibe from the vegas forum from certain people and I just didnt think that was cool!
I understand what its like to answer the same questions, especially ones such as %26#39;Where is the nearest 7 Eleven%26#39;, lol - google anyone..................
I have been a member for a couple of years on a Mustang forum and I answer the same type of rediculous questions and I have to admit - i does get on my nerves sometimes!!!!
Nick
some of the posters are only trolls. and if i remember from the fairy tale about the trolls under the bridge, trolls are mean.
I have to admit, to some of the LV veterans, some of the repeated questions do tend to get old after a while. As a weather nut, I go nuts with ';What%26#39;s the weather going to be like (on date)';. I mean, if the person is smart enough to get onto the Internet, why can%26#39;t they go to an obvious site like weather.com and search? All they have to do is put in ';Las Vegas, NV';. That isn%26#39;t hard. Even internet-savvy young children can figure that out. So, I have a standard template answer for those questions that I post which has at least three weather sites they can go to. We need a standard template for the kids questions. Anyone want to volunteer?
