Can anyone advise when exactly this hotel will change to planet hollywood? Thanks

To be honest I don%26#39;t think anyone knows the exact date, but its due to be completed mid 2007!!

Hopefully PH will be just as nice as the Aladdin was.

I made reservations for Dec at the Aladdin- reviews of recent guests seem to be very mixed in terms of noise level and whether the transition to PH took a toll on guest%26#39;s experience.

Anyone stay there within the last month?

I stayed there last week, Monday thru Friday.

There was construction going on in the casino. This made it a bit more difficult to find your way around. But after a day or 2 it was a non issue. The poker room is moved up 1 level near the check in desk. This was nice because you didn%26#39;t have all of the casino noise and traffic to deal with.

The other main area of construction was being done on the entrances (strip entrance and parking/valet). Just some big walls blocking off the areas. Made your entrance/exit into the aladdin take an extra 10-15 seconds. No big deal.

Otherwise, the rooms are still nice and roomy, the desert passage is a great place to hang out and eat/drink/shop and I was never disturbed by the noise. Eat the PF Changs if you want good chinese food and check out Commanders Palace for their $18.88 lunch special.

i just stay their a in the last month and will be back their indec, it is great , valet was very good never had to wait on the car to long, the dinninr exp was great.. we had pinks, spice buffett, pf changs.

can you tell i love aladdin/ph. we got a free upgrade fountin view in the north tower. which bty is the place to stay from all i know.hope this helps.. great staff as well ****
