Time share presentation people.

Spent 2 nights last week at the Hard Rock and loved it. Also seemed like it was the only casino we went to that did NOT have time share hawkers crawling all over it. EVERY casino on the strip had people all over inside and out attempting to induce you with free dinners, shows, etc. NYNY was the worst. Even though they were easy to get rid of by telling them you were leaving that night or early the next morning, it was still very annoying.

Most clever (or devious, depending on your point of view): A group of people at Mandalay Bay were watching a guy play one of those gigantic slot machines. An older, friendly ';security'; person came over to a young Asian couple and nicely told them that their 2 small children had to stay on the carpet away from the machine. He then engaged them in conversation and soon had them over by a computer screen showing them all the freebies they could get. They seemed interested and didn%26#39;t appear to realize what was going on.

I felt sorry for them knowing what they were in for, but had to admire the guy%26#39;s style.

Just my 2 cents.

Time share presentation people.

I hear you!

They have definitely gotten more aggressive. I was downtown last week and without telling us anything upfront got led to what I thought was going to be the Players Club Promo desk. Then a salesman behind the desk rudely demand to know when we were leaving. When I asked repeatedly what this was about he got uppity and said he didn%26#39;t want us wasting HIS time if we were leaving soon.

I stood firm and told him he was wasting OUR time and walked off.

I did notice when I was alone, they might just say hello and were less inclined to hawk. .
