Everyone is expected to answer nonsensical, pointless, irrelevent questions as asked by Conversationist so lets ask him some back about his home town and see if he can answer those....
So in his own inimitable style.....
1. Are the roads in Washington DC formed from aggregate concrete or tarmac?
2. In 1934 what was the price of a carton of Earl grey tea in the local DC stores?
3. Did grunge music originate in Seattle or was it really from the underground jazz/heavy rock hybrid clubs in LA
TAKE THE HINT CONVERSATIONIST!!!!

Don%26#39;t encouage him cvrom you might just get the answers to these questions.
mpo
The answer to #1 is : Most are a brick or cobblestone base which has been overlayed with tarmac. (asphalt as we call it here) I know this because I grew up 10 mins from DC.
I agree with mpo. Just ignore him/her/ it if it bothers you.
Believe me, he%26#39;ll stop when he tires of his little game.
Is it more likely you will be killed crossing the road in DC than being blown up by terrorists?
(Believe it or not, a similar question was posted by him in the Turkey forum)
You live in Chicago. If you stop cutting your toe nails, how long will it take for them to grow long enough to reach Vegas?
If Conversationist left D.C. by car, traveling at 80 mph, and Cvrom left Manchester by plane, who would reach the smoky unpopular buffet line next to the slot machines that don%26#39;t use coins in the casino with loud rock music, first? And, would they spot any celebrities while dining at a low priced sit-down restaurant on the strip?
how long would it take for conversationist to post a real question?
Congratulations, cvrom...you%26#39;ve just become the the person you dislike.
