I-15 Cajon Pass closure to Vegas this weekend, 11/18-11/20

Just got this email with the latest info on Caltrans closures on the Northbound I-15 going towards Vegas. This closure will affect anyone driving north on the 15 from LA, Orange, Riverside, and San Diego Counties.

There will not be any closures Thanksgiving weekend.

DEVORE 2 – WEEKEND WORK UPDATE

NORTHBOUND 15 CONNECTOR CLOSURE NOV. 18 - 20

San Bernardino County – Caltrans continues the Devore 2 Pavement Rehabilitation project on Interstate 15 (I-15) near the junction of 15/215 in Devore, just south of the Cajon Pass. Rapid Rehab weekend work is planned for the northbound direction of the I-15.

The work will begin on Saturday, November 18 at 8:00 a.m. and continue to Monday, November 20, at 4:00 a.m. Reference Closure F on our website or in the brochure. Closure F involves work at one connector as follows:

Closed:

Saturday morning (8 am), November 18 to Monday morning (4 am), November 20:

Northbound I-15 connector at the 15/215

Detour during the connector closure:

Northbound I-15 – From I-15 in Ontario, take I-10 east to I-215 north and continue to I-15 north to the Cajon Pass.

The southbound direction of I-15 will not be affected this weekend.

During the week, lane and ramp closures will continue from 6 pm to 6 am throughout the project limits in both directions of I-15 from Glen Helen Parkway to Cleghorn Road.

Caltrans advises motorists to avoid the construction or travel before or after the work hours. If possible, take an alternate route.
