1 Million in the bag promo

I was just on the bally%26#39;s website and looked at this promo. Says that anytime you earn 50 base points in a day you get 2 entries, a $5 macys card and a winfinder keychain that can light up and win instant prizes. Has anyone done this and won anything? Also how do you get the keychain? Does someone walk up to you and give it to you when you get the 50 points or what?

I did it this weekend at Caesars Palace. It a promotions desk near the Rewards center that you take you players card up to and they check if you have enough points for the day. If you do they give you a $5 MAcy card and a black keychain thingy that may light up. Mine did light up and I took it back up to the desk and got to pick a bag off a computer screen and won a $25 Macys gift card. The guy in front of me won 5000 total rewards points ($50.00 worth of food on a Harrahs property)

I was bummed cuz I forgot to do it again on Sunday before we left.

I was at Harrah%26#39;s in Arizona this past weekend and I got a winfinder keychain at the Total rewards desk. Mine didn%26#39;t light up and darn it I wish I had known that I could%26#39;ve gone back for the Macy%26#39;s gift card.

Oh well I%26#39;ll try it out again when I%26#39;m in vegas in December.

We just got back from Ballys yesterday. We thought the promo was stupid because the points had to be earned within 24 hours. Every time WE went to get the keychain, of course the time had just expired, like 30 seconds ago. What nonsense. The one keychain we did get didn%26#39;t light up. Too many hoops to jump through, IMO. Having been to Ballys several times, we found the slots have been tightened up at all the Harrah%26#39;s properties. To my way of thinking, if they want to reward their loyal customers, how about giving us some REAL comp??? We were there a week, 2 of us gambling at their properties and all they could come up with was $47 in comp?? C%26#39;mon. Perhaps 2006 will be the year that Harrah%26#39;s singlehandedly ruined LV.

I think Harrah%26#39;s changed their Total rewards policy and now

$5.00 in = 1 point

Most other casinos are $1.00 = 1 point

Am I wrong?

If you can%26#39;t earn 50 points in 24 hours you don%26#39;t gamble enough to get ';real comps'; Just have fun and live with it.

Blondie, I believe I just read that $20 in is 1 point at Venetien. Yowza!!

The casinos in Colorado are generally $2 in for 1 point. I would expect most Vegas casinos to be higher than that.

Checked total rewards website and it is $5 for 1 point on slots and $10 for 1 point on video poker. Promo seems to go till end of November with grand prize draw on Dec 3.

Well I don%26#39;t think I will strive to try to get the 50 points but if I do happen to play there I will keep track of my points and go get the keychain if I have enough points. Thanks for the info
