Riviera $40 for $20 slot promotion

Has anyone been to the Riviera and received $40 in slot pay for $20? If so, is it only for specific slot machines or good for any slots in casino. Would like to take up any casino offer for these type of deals as long as it is good for any slots in casino.

Did this in September. Three times actually!! It%26#39;s only for the group of machines at the far left of the casino where they are ';selling'; it.

I%26#39;m going to justify doing this three times now :-) My partner brought into it first....and I%26#39;m thinking ';fool....you can%26#39;t stay away from those slots and now you%26#39;re getting ripped off';. So the $40 in credits disappears quicker than you can say ';I told you these machines never pay off, especially these promotion things';. I walk off and leave him - purely so I can deposit more money at the craps table :-(

Back at the Stardust he shows me a coffee cup, a free entry into tomorrows slot tournament and a couple of strings of beads. ';Chuck that rubbish out';.......but that%26#39;s not all...... He%26#39;s also got a fairly decent pair of binoculars. And sneaks the coffee mug into the bag to come home anyway.

Now a few days later after a trip to Ross and the outlet mall, I discover that there is no way that all the stuff that is now in the room is going to fit in the suitcase to come home. Ohhhhh......but he can fix this!!

Back off to the Riviera and I%26#39;m mortified to find myself sitting in front of said slot machines! And I manage to escape the beads and the coffee cup.....but leave with a very nice leather bag - wheels, pull out handle.

Then my Mother wants one so back we go on day 3!!

While there we did hear the $500 and 2 x $100 jackpots go off on these machines so it is possible to win. The prizes aren%26#39;t bad - the binoculars are still working and we couldn%26#39;t have bought the bags for $20.

Only downside was he managed to put the beads into the suitcase. For the first time ever I got searched by customs coming home as the damn things looked like seeds on the x-ray machine.

Sorry, that is a very long way of saying not good for all machines.

I have not played them recently but I did quite a while ago. You can only use certain machines. You either have to hit one of the jackpots or play the credit down to zero. You cannot cash out when you want to. At that time, you could choose which ';prize'; you wanted when the credits showed zero. The prize depends on how much you put in. Honestly- I never saw anything I really wanted. You just have to go and see if you think there is a prize that is worth $20. The chances of winning a jackpot are not that good. After that one time- I never tried it again.

Last March my husband tried this promotion on the select few machines. We walked away with a bag full of stuff--3 mugs, beads, a Riv. Tshirt (cheap one) and a very nice ebroidered navy Riv. sweatshirt. Not much considering what he spent, but he had fun so that was the main thing.
