MGM versus TI / half price tix

Going to Vegas in Feb.

Petite Suite at Treasure Island is same price as regular room at MGM. Which would you choose, and why?

Also, want to see The Producers. Tickets available on Ticketmaster now, obviously at full price. Can I get tickets for premium shows like this at the half price ticket booth when in Vegas?

TI is a better winter choice, when the pool is not a factor

The larger room, petite suite, is much more pleasant than a standard room.. both hotels have good locations

You will not get 1/2 off tickets to shows that are popular

While I love the MGM, if the price is the same, I think you%26#39;d enjoy the bigger room at TI. I%26#39;ve seen a lot of reviews saying it%26#39;s not a bad hotel. (please do a search to verify for yourself) I like bigger, so I%26#39;d choose the suite over a deluxe room. Then after you wake up, get your butt down to the MGM and have a great time.....lol

TI has a better location IMO - near the FS Mall, Mirage, Wynn, Venetian .Short walk to Forum shoppes , close to Casino Royale ! Go with the Suite.

I like the smaller feel of the TI - short walk to the elevator, etc. the casino is good if you play table games - VP and Slots seem tighter than other places. We liked the Buffet - its not a huge selection but decent for the price with a good Asian food section - not many dessert selections though.

I would take the Petite Suite at Treasure Island... I have heard great things about them. I personally like both locations in different ways... one is farther north than center strip, and then MGM is on the south end, but they are surrounded by plenty to see. So, unless you have a big preference for a part of the strip, I would go for the suite for sure.

I have been to TI twice and have always enjoyed it. The location is better than MGM anyways.

If you plan on doing any shopping at all, you would probably enjoy being next to Fashion Show Mall - TI. If you want more of a nightlife without it being over the top busy than take MGM, if you notice most of the famous night spots are north strip but there is still great night spots on the south side without all the fake hype.
