M&G at Ellis Island Dec. 12th Time to organize...

OK fellow cheapos with crazy low room rates and a desire for good cheap beer and the $5 hunk of beef, it%26#39;s now 30 days away and time to get this organized.

I have contacted the EI restaurant manager and they indicated they aren%26#39;t willing to ';reserve'; anything for us but if we end up there and tell them we have a party of XX, they will do their best to accomodate us. Knowing this place can be busy at dinnertime and pretty slow midday, my thought was to shoot for Tues. the 12th around 1pm.

I couldn%26#39;t find my original thread on this subject, but as I recall there were at least 5 or 6 people interested. EVERYONE is invited to attend and there will be many T/A Vegas forum veterans there.

Speak up so I can make a list and get your opinions on the above mentioned time.

Also. Chitowngambler is organizing a low budget ';pub crawl'; for the east Fremont area. Anyone wanting to join in for that Fremont Experience might want to mention it as well to help him with times/ date.

Would the crawl be after the %26#39;meet and greet%26#39; at EI?

Would the 1PM time interfere with lunch crowds? Not having been to EI, I%26#39;ve no idea if they are busy or not that time of day. I was thinking more like early dinner, then a crawl downtown afterwards instead of an afternoon crawl.

I will be there in spirit for the EI meal, the crawl and anything and everything else you decide to do-O.K. maybe not the tattoo thing.

I have only been to EI once so I can%26#39;t really pick a good time but in August I did go for dinner and I did have to wait quite a while- and I was only one person.

I think I will pass on the tattoo thing too! ;)

How about early dinner instead of 1 o%26#39;clock........is it busy at around 5? EI that is! Just wondering and also want to put my 2 cents/pence in!

Whatever you guys decide, I will try to make. I doubt that I%26#39;ll be enjoying the $4.95 special with you. The 12th is my last night there so I think we%26#39;re going to be going to a show and dinner. But I would like to join everyone for a few cocktails at the bar sometime that afternoon. I%26#39;ll be watching to see what you decide and I%26#39;ll do my best to get there and meet everyone at least for a little bit.

I think you guys mentioned arriving downtown on the 10th. That%26#39;s my first night in town, and the one night that I%26#39;m staying DT (MSS). So, I%26#39;ll also be watching what you guys plan for any DT stuff too :)

Did you decide on a time yet for the 12th?

We get in late mama. I won%26#39;t be on the street until 11pm or so, but I was thinking of checking out the homemade brew at MSS. Maybe we can meet up there.

21, this is still the ongoing issue. I%26#39;m waiting for a reply from a certain someone who thinks 1 pm is too early and that is why I need other opinions. 2pm? 3? Speak up everyone before I get a headache and start losing interest.
