TI Suite Upgrade...Worth it?

We%26#39;re a young twenty-something couple booked at TI. This is our first time staying anywhere other than MGM. Read overall good reviews for TI and is within our price range. Is it worth the $20 extra per night to upgrade from a Petite to a Tower Suite? According to the hotel website, you basically get the same thing, except the Tower has about 250 more square footage. Should we just stick with the Petite and hope for a free upgrade at check-in? Travel dates are Dec. 18-21.

I stayed at TI in July and it was great. I was booked in a Petite Suite and the next night, they upgraded me for free. But that was their slower time. I would absolutely pay the difference. The North Tower Suite is fantastic.You will not be disappointed.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Upon arrival should we specifically ask for the %26#39;North%26#39; Tower? I read that room locations can be a problem, if you%26#39;re situated right over the Sirens show.

you should ask for a room on the south side overlooking the pool

thats the best view in vegas since the blvd turns in front of the Ti and you can see all the way down the road to the Mandalay.
