taxi or limo for 5 arriving 10:00 at night?

I have a group of five guys coming in at 10:00 pm should i :

1 go to taxi stand wait for two taxis

2 pre arrange a limo ( best company best rates?)

3 go to shuttle area look for walk up a limo area

looking fior fastest wat to get to strip

For taxis, no way to tell but there may well be 2 waiting for you.

Limos, I can%26#39;t help you with but you are probably looking at $100.00 probably more..

Another consideration - 5 guys is at least 5 suitcases and that is a lot of luggage for one car..

If you willing to pay $100 + for a limo, then why not rent a mini van or a SUV for one day, and drive to the strip

I don%26#39;t want to pay 100dollars. I am worried that at 10 pm on a saturday night the taxi line might have a long wait. we are staying at the mirage

Someone else can confirm this, but I believe that the legal limit is 4 to a taxi. So if you don%26#39;t want to pay two cabs, then arranging a private shuttle or a limo is your best bet.

I am just a downtown boy but it there any chance that the Mirage will send one of their limos for 5 guests or is that reserved for whales? Anyway, it might be worth a call to the hotel to find out. You have little to lose.

I usually either drive to vegas or fly and rent a car.

BUT I thought there are mini van type taxis in vegas. They can take 5.

Again, a car rental won%26#39;t be more than 50 for a mini van or SUV (per day) maybe you need to concider that

The taxi line could be extremely long or not, its really hit and miss depending on the weekend.

Call your hotel and have them book a limo for you. It will be around $60 + tip to your hotel. Between 5 guys that is not very much money.

chitowngambler, the limos sent by the hotels to pick up guests are for the whales, not the lowly paying guests. Now that I think of it though, those whales do pay through the nose to get the privilege of being picked up by a %26#39;free%26#39; limo! ;)
