what are the comps like at 4 queens

Looking to stay there or somewhere downtown in March. I like 4 queens, but never picked up a players card before.

Just looking for your thoughts/experiences there.

I see they have some good meal promotions now, looks like cheap eating.

Thanks.

anyone get comps at 4 queens? Since we may stay there, would play more there too. Will it take thousands spent??

what are the comps like at 4 queens

I just stayed at the Four Queens. I am not a big gambler, just some penny slots. I signed up for the Players Club to get the dining discounts in Magnolia%26#39;s. They were well worth it.

If you go to the four queens web site and fill out and print the form online they will give you a gift when you present it. We got a decent duffle bag. For earning 50 points, which I did the first day on penny slots. I got a free T shirt. As I said I am not a big gambler, so that%26#39;s as far as I got.

I was very happy with my stay at the Four Queens. The room was very nice, not luxurious by any means, but very clean and basic.

Thank you, this is just the information I was looking for.

So Magnolia%26#39;s was OK for a quick bite to eat? We don%26#39;t do the fine dining so just an old fashioned prime rib will do .

Magnolias is a typical Vegas casino coffee shop, open 24/7, nothing fancy.

I did a comprehensive report under the hotel reviews. If you type Four Queens in the search box to the upper left hand corner of this screen you can read hotel reviews. Mine is dated Nov 10th.

I had the $4.00 ham and egg breakfast twice at Magnolias and I had a barbeque rib dinner for $6.40. I did not try the $4.00 hamburger and fries, but I think that would be quite a deal too.

I also mentioned the $10.00 dinner buffet at Fitzgeralds across the street from 4 Queens and if you like shrimp the 99 cent shrimp coctail at Golden Gate, along with their yummy $1.00 small frozen margarita.

I don%26#39;t see how you can beat the deals at Magnolias for value for basic food. The regulare price meals were a little higher, not outrageous, but I thinkg the Players Club specials are the real bargains.

Are you sure your margarita wasn%26#39;t from the Fremont across the street from Four Queens rather than at the Golden Gate? I never remember seeing them there, but we always get them at one of the two casino bars at the Fremont. Don%26#39;t bother trying to get one at the Mermaid or Le Bayou ( two downtown casinos). They have large signs outside advertising dollar frozen drinks but always tell you they are ';all out of cups'; and try to upgrade you to their next size, which is $8 or $9 dollars- what a scam!

I am quite sure I purchased a $1.00 frozen margarita, GOOD, as in I could taste alcohol, and salt on the rim of the glass, at the Golden Gate. A sign was posted at the bar offering a large $6.00 margarita, or a $4.00 margarita in a hurricane glass. I asked for a small and the bartender asked if I wanted the hurricane glass or the $1.00.

It was a small plastic cup, but in the 70 degree weather last week, that%26#39;s all I needed of a frozen drink. Admittedly, I am a short hitter, but it lasted me probably close to an hour as I let the ice melt and took small sips. Now if I was there in the summer I might go for the hurricane glass to cool me down and deal with the probable headache.

The Golden Gate frozen drinks are the real thing as opposed to what I got for a dollar at Casino Royale last May. I gagged and thru it out. It tasted like one of those frozen slurrpies that kids get at 7-11 stores, sweet and no alcohol taste.

I thought the 99 cent shrimp cocktail at Golden Gate was better than I anticipated (sauce on the side, with lemon, you have to ask) and the $1.00 frozen margaita was a really nice, unexpected pleasure.
